LiAngelo Ball Officially Signs with LA

Well, it’s not the Lakers. But LiAngelo Ball has officially signed for the Los Angeles Ballers to play for his dad’s league, the JBA. And let’s talk about the power move of basically naming the team after yourself. First we had the Cleveland Browns and Paul Brown, and now we have the Los Angeles Ballers and Lavar Ball.

There’s still a chance that LiAngelo ends up in the NBA. It’s highly unlikely. Almost impossible. But I guess there’s a chance.

I believe LiAngelo’s ultimate hope is to try to catch on in a major league overseas. There’s nothing wrong with being paid to play basketball. Sure, it sucks when your brother is Lebron’s PG and your little brother will probably be a first round pick, but c’mon. Getting paid to play basketball isn’t a bad gig at all. And maybe LiAngelo can take over the family business when Lavar dies unexpectedly from a heart attack (yes, this is me calling it. I’ll be sad when it happens). I think LiAngelo would have the ability to randomly show up on talk shows to talk about “his boys”. Doesn’t seem like too hard of a job to do.
