Michael Lorenzen, a relief pitcher for the Reds, hit a grand slam today.
Erik Kratz, a catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers who almost got killed by Joseph Daniel Votto on Thursday, pitched an inning while giving up 2 runs.
Both were very entertaining.
New rule for baseball that I just came up with. No player can play the same position back-to-back innings. Everyone talks about how baseball is a “dying” sport, so do something to spice it up. It wouldn’t hurt to try.
