Ace’s Picks of the Day: 6/14/2018
Indians -145 @ White Sox
Carlos Rodon is making his second start of the season for the White Sox, so expect him to still be rusty. Clevinger has been solid for the Indians this season, so he’ll be able to do just enough. Chicago’s won the last two matchups, but I believe Cleveland will be able to win today and leave the series splitting with the White Sox 2-2
Astros -180 @ A’s
Rays +140 @ Yankees
Blake Snell has been absolutely dealing this season for Tampa and he’s coming into the start with an 8-3 record and 2.30 ERA. He has yet to face the Yankees lineup this season, but he’ll be able to hold his own.
Braves -133 vs Padres
Anibal is 2-0 through 30 innings of work, and he’s carrying a 2.37 ERA with him. Tyson Ross has also been solid for San Diego this season, but this game comes down to Atlanta just having more overall talent than the Padres in their lineup.
Red Sox -135 @ Mariners
David Price comes into the start with a 4.00 ERA, but he’s won his last three starts and goes for his fourth in a row tonight. King Felix has had some mighty struggles this season, and he’s carrying a 5.70 ERA into tonight’s game. He’s got a tough challenge against this Boston lineup, and I’m not sure if he can handle them.
